Welcome to Changkat Changi Secondary School, Secondary 1 students and parents/guardians!
I am delighted to serve as your Principal and the 11th Principal of this established school with a rich 60-year history. Here at Changkat Changi Secondary School (CCSS), your teachers take pride in preparing you for an ever-evolving future shaped by technological advancement and global change. We emphasise character development, nurturing resilient students who are proactive in caring for others and demonstrate concern, attentiveness, respect, and encouragement. These qualities will help you form strong friendships during your secondary school years.
As a CCSS student, you will have an array of learning opportunities that provide an enriching, memorable, and varied secondary school experience. These opportunities include our distinctive learning programmes such as SOAR at CCSS and ASCEND at CCSS (our ALP and LLP), learning journeys, and CCAs.

[D] Purchase of School Books and Uniform
1. School Books and Supplies
There are 3 modes of purchase for school books and supplies.

Online purchase & delivery

Online purchase & self-collection at school bookshop. Online purchase done before 22 Dec 2025, 12pm, will be available for self-collection at the school bookshop after 24 Dec 2025.

Walk-in purchase at school bookshop at the following dates and timings:

Parents/Guardians are encouraged to purchase their books online, to avoid long queues.
There will be no sales of books in school on 22 Dec 2025. Students will purchase their name tags in January 2026.

2. School Uniform

Walk-in purchase at school, Indoor Sports Hall, Level 1, at the following dates and timings:

Physical sales of Sec 1 uniforms and PE attire are only available in school.
Students are expected to report to school in full school uniform, white
shoes, and white socks every day. They will change
into their PE T-shirts and shorts before PE lessons and back into their
uniform after PE lessons. Students are encouraged to buy at least 2
sets of uniforms, 2 sets of PE attire and a school tie each.

[E] Information for Students and Parents/Guardians
1. Instructions for reporting on the first day of school, 2 January 2026, Friday

Students are supposed to report to the school by 7.50 am. Please arrive at least 10 mins earlier.

Students are to bring their water bottle, snacks, writing materials and school tie. A digital thermometer will be provided to every student in the first week of school.

There will be a 30-minute recess on the first day. A simple recess meal which includes a burger/plate of noodles, and a drink will cost at least $3.50.

Students will be dismissed at 12.30 pm on 2 January 2026 (Fri).
2. PE/House T-shirt
-
There are 4 houses, Eagle (Red), Hawk (Blue), Falcon (Green) and Harrier (Yellow) in Changkat Changi Secondary School and every student will be a member of a house.

Students’ PE T-shirts will be in the colour of the house that they are in.

The PE T-Shirt colour for your child, will be shared via Parents Gateway by 22 Dec 2025 (Mon).

Students may wear their Primary School PE T-shirt for PE lessons in the first week of school.

[F] Information for students under MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)

Students who have applied for FAS will be informed of the outcome once the school receives the information from MOE HQ. The General Office staff will contact you. In the meantime, do not purchase any uniforms, PE attire, or books from the booklist.
